Dog Fouling in Brasted

The Parish Council have had a number of complaints from residents and the grounds maintenance team about dog fouling around the village.

People, and particularly children, can become ill with Toxocara which can in extreme cases lead to blindness. The grounds maintenance team have recently reported problems cutting and strimming grass in the High Street and in the Recreation Ground that has been fouled with dog mess, causing damage to their equipment and time spent cleaning themselves and their equipment, rather than maintaining the appearance of the village.

It is extremely important that dog owners clear public areas of dog excrement by bagging it and disposing of it appropriately.
